Negro baseball League

Beautiful, handcrafted Shadowbox in an 8 x 10 frame. The Interior is designed with a gorgeous fabric. The figurine encased in the shadowbox represents a young African American baseball player. The Black community created 7 different leagues. The most notable and longest lasting was the Negro National League. The first Colored Championship of the World was in 1903. An estimated 3 million watched the games. These championship games were played between 1927-48.
