$1,175.00

Beautiful, handcrafted Shadowbox in a 24 x 36 frame. The Interior is designed with music fabric. The musical instrument encased in the shadowbox is a violin. The violin is typically comprised of spruce or maple and was first built in the 16th century in Italy. Andrea Amati (1505-1577) is considered the father of the modern violin and is credited with creating the earliest violins that closely resemble the instruments we see today. Some of the greatest violinists are Paganini, Sarasate, Auer, Kreisler, Jascha Heifetz and Hilary Hahn.
