Adama

Beautiful, handcrafted shadowbox in an 18 x 24 frame. The interior is designed in African fabric. The carving encased within is called “Adama”, which means “earth”. This is a young Senegalese woman who is a member of the Wolof people. She works the land and provides food for the family. The name “Adama” reflects the values and traditions of the Wolof people.
